As part of environmental initiatives, we embark upon a journey by practicing Green CSR. These are the things that we follow:
- Work proactively during daylight in office to reduce power usage & carbon emission.
- Use Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as a substitute of Fossil Fuel in vehicles.
- Organic Gardening is carried out within the office premises.
- Communication is carried out via emails instead of postal emails.
- Utilize both sides of a paper while printing and print only the required document.
- Use back side of a printed document for rough / writing.
- Optimize the use of natural light and ventilation.
- Turning PC, Monitors, Desk / Room Air Conditioners, Lights, Fans etc. off and apply power saving to minimize power consumption.
- Employees are very cooperative and do not misuse the power consumption.
- Providing employees with food using organic products and fair trade teas and coffees.
- Implementing a car pool scheme for staff.
- Planning to replace existing Fluorescent Tube with energy efficient Compact Fluroscent Lamps (CFL) bulbs.
- Keep track of the unit of consumption saved through this initiative & inform them to keep all motivated.
