Case Study - Embedded Device Porting

One of the primary clients of ReliSource introduced a set of sensor devices which are mainly used to collect temperature and humidity data for the perishable goods like food, biochemical reagents, medicines etc. while transporting.

 

The company developed a new generation of sensor devices introducing new 8 bit platform with non-volatile memory support comparing 4 bit legacy system.

ReliSource engineering team helped to port the device firmware from legacy 4 bit to 8 bit platform. The team ported the new firmware using C and assembly from legacy SASM code with various enhancements. After the porting the devices were made configurable from PC for different operating condition.
