A government agency wanted to improve their client side technology for their Network Bandwidth Management solution. The organization was facing issue with code management as the code base was rapidly growing which caused severe performance bottleneck in the client side. The agency decided to redesign the client side application in Eclipse RCP framework targeting code manageability and performance optimization.

 

The challenge for ReliSource was not only to redesign the client side application framework for better code manageability and performance optimization but also to develop comprehensive service creation and execution environment for effective management of service delivery.

Solution and Approach

ReliSource Engineering team took the responsibility and re-architects the client side application using Eclipse RCP framework. The engineering team employ MVC framework and redesign the model layer to persist the data object invoking RMI. The application use built in data caching facility to improve performance and application usability. The ReliSource engineering team developed a visual design studio to enable the user to arrange and interconnect to build or modify services visually.
