IT Business Systems Analyst & JIRA Administrator

We are looking for a dynamic Business Systems Analyst who can bridge the gap between business requirements and the tools that power delivery. In this hybrid role, you'll gather and translate business needs into actionable requirements while also owning and optimizing our JIRA/Atlassian ecosystem — configuring workflows, building automation, and ensuring our project tracking infrastructure actually works for the teams using it. This is a great fit for someone who wants both the analytical, stakeholder-facing side of business analysis and the hands-on ownership of a critical internal platform.

• B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering or any relevant discipline from a reputed university. 

• One (01) to three (03) years of experience in business analysis, IT systems administration, or Agile project tooling.
• Hands-on exposure to JIRA (as a power user, administrator, or Agile team member) is required.
• Experience with international clients in an Agile/Scrum environment is a strong advantage.

• Engage with stakeholders, product managers, and end-users to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria within JIRA.
• Administer and maintain JIRA Software (Cloud/Data Center) — including projects, boards, workflows, custom fields, and permission schemes.
• Build JIRA Automation rules to reduce manual effort, auto-assign issues, and sync data across projects.
• Create dashboards, JQL filters, and reports to give stakeholders visibility into project health and KPIs.
• Support Agile ceremonies and help teams refine workflows that match their delivery methodology.
• Manage integrations between JIRA and tools like Confluence, Slack, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Onboard new users/teams into JIRA, providing training and documentation.
• Coordinate between business, engineering, and QA teams to keep requirements and project tracking aligned.
• Communicate regularly with US clients and internal stakeholders on process improvements.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business problems into technical/process solutions.
• Working knowledge of JQL (JIRA Query Language) for filters, dashboards, and reporting.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail, ownership mentality, and proactive problem-solving.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours to coordinate with US clients.

• Proven experience administering a mid-to-large JIRA instance (500+ users).
• Experience with ScriptRunner (Groovy), JIRA Service Management (JSM), or marketplace apps like Tempo/Structure.
• Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certification.
• Exposure to SaaS enterprise solutions or healthcare/fintech/logistics domains.
• Familiarity with REST APIs for JIRA scripting/bulk operations.
