AI Automation Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on AI Automation Engineer who can understand business problems and turn them into practical, reliable automations using modern Generative AI tools.

This is not necessarily a traditional software development role. The ideal candidate combines strong business understanding, logical thinking, excellent English communication, and the ability to work independently with clients from requirement discovery through delivery.

• B.Sc. in any Engineering discipline or a similar technical field from a reputed university.
• A Computer Science degree is not required.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building Generative AI-powered automations, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted business processes.
• Demonstrated practical automation experience is more important than a traditional software development background.

• Design & Deploy: Design, develop, and deploy tailored AI and automation solutions aligned to client objectives.
• Build Workflows & Services: Translate business problems into production-grade AI workflows and services using Python, automation tools (n8n/Make/Zapier or similar), and LLM platforms/APIs (e.g., OpenAI, IBM watsonx.ai, Amazon Bedrock), plus retrieval systems.
• Agentic Systems: Build and deploy agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and Google ADK, including tool calling and structured outputs.
• Design and implement multi-step automations using tools such as Claude Code, Codex, agents, skills, plugins, MCP, APIs, and automation platforms.
• Work independently with clients to clarify requirements, propose solutions, demonstrate results, and incorporate feedback.
• Test and validate AI-generated outputs and automated workflows for correctness, reliability, and edge cases before deployment.
• Create reusable automation components where appropriate and keep current with relevant AI models, tools, agents, and workflow capabilities.

• Solutions consistently meet or exceed client expectations and show measurable impact (time saved, cost reduced, improved conversion/deflection, faster cycle time).
• Clients trust you as a go-to engineering partner and expand usage of deployed AI workflows.
• Deliveries are production-ready: monitored, testable, documented, and maintainable.

• Strong practical experience with Claude Code, Codex, or comparable agentic AI tools.
• Ability to turn a manual business process into a reliable automated workflow.
• Comfortable working with APIs, structured data such as JSON, authentication, files, and cloud services.
• Experience with at least one workflow automation platform (n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar) and building reliable integrations.
• Strong logical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and business understanding.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to work independently with international clients.
• Ability to understand, test, and validate AI-generated work rather than accepting model output blindly.
• Up-to-date practical knowledge of Generative AI tools, agents, skills, plugins, and automation approaches. 

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, or related services.
• Advanced experience with Excel, spreadsheets, reporting, or data-transformation automation. 
• Working knowledge of PowerShell, SQL, or another scripting languages besides Python. 
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, collaboration, ticketing, or document-management platforms.
