Senior Azure Administrator

• B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering or related field from any reputed university.

• 5+ years of experience in Azure Administration

• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, and other infrastructure components.
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Azure resources.
• Implement security best practices and compliance policies for Azure resources.
• Provision and scale Azure resources based on business requirements.
• Optimize resource allocation and usage to minimize costs while maximizing performance.
• Implement and maintain security controls, identity and access management, and data encryption in Azure.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
• Set up and manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery services.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure data resilience.
• Create and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages) for managing Azure resources.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Monitor Azure services and resources using tools like Azure Monitor and Azure Security Center.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and other teams to support cloud-based applications.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.

• Azure Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure Security, and Azure Management Tools.
• Security and Compliance: Strong understanding of Azure security principles, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and the ability to implement security controls effectively.
• Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Ability to monitor Azure resources effectively and troubleshoot issues using Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools, synthetic monitoring for applications.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Experience with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications: Azure certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.

• Containerization: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Networking: Knowledge of advanced networking concepts, such as Azure ExpressRoute and Azure Firewall, VNET, VPN, etc.
• Cost Optimization: Experience in optimizing Azure costs through resource right-sizing and budget management.
• Multi-Cloud Experience: Familiarity with other cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is beneficial.
• DevOps Tools: Understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
